The English Theatre of Hamburg is a true rarity in Germany: It is the oldest English-speaking theatre in the country. It was founded in 1976 by Clifford Dean and Robert Rumpf, who are still in charge today. The diverse program offers all kinds of entertainment, from comedy to thrillers. Thanks to the English actors, the performances are very authentic. Shows take place on every day between Tuesday and Saturday at 07:30 p.m., there are additional shows on Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 a.m.
