Anton, an avid fan of horror stories, experiences an unexpected turn of events when a real vampire named Rüdiger von Schlotterstein lands on his windowsill. Initially overcome by goosebumps, Rüdiger turns out to be a friendly representative of his kind. Anton befriends him and his sister Anna. Despite his friendship with the unusual guests, Anton has difficulty convincing his parents of the existence of vampires. At the same time, the new friends must defend themselves against the terrible Geiermeier, who is out to exterminate all vampires. In the midst of these challenges, Anton, Rüdiger and Anna experience exciting adventures and do everything they can to preserve their unusual friendship.
