With each passing year, man-made climate change becomes more obvious. But what impact do the changes associated with this change have on migratory birds? As cosmopolitans, migratory birds are at home in very different worlds. Accordingly, they are confronted with the consequences of climate change in several places. The lecture provides an overview of the current state of research, informs about dangers but also about the birds' strategies for dealing with the change. The Wadden Sea, as a "hub" of the East Atlantic bird migration, is the focus of the discussion.
