- Lectures & Discussions
For their new film, wanderlust-lovers Silke Schranz and Christian Wüstenberg spent half a year on the tropical island of Mauritius. On October 28, the two will be speaking about their thrilling experiences and adventures live on stage at the Beluga cinema for the first time.
They are the most successful independent travel filmmakers in Germany. More than 650,000 viewers have already seen their films in the cinema. Silke Schranz and Christian Wüstenberg have already brought eight travel documentaries to the cinema, including box office hits such as "The North Sea from Above" or "South Africa - The Movie" and "Australia in 100 Days". The new film "Mauritius - The Wanderlust Makers on the Road in a Tropical Paradise" takes viewers to the most spectacular places in Mauritius.
"Our goal was to bring the essence of Mauritius to the big screen - not just the majestic nature and the picturesque beaches, but also the cultural diversity and the warm-hearted encounters with the people of Mauritius," says Silke Schranz. "It was an intensive trip for us that allowed us to experience the beauty and diversity of this island and capture it with our cameras," enthuses Christian Wüstenberg.
The premiere on October 28th at 3 p.m. in the Beluga cinema not only offers a deep insight into the tropical paradise in the Indian Ocean, but also the opportunity to experience the filmmaker duo up close when they stand live on stage for two hours and talk about their trip with shining eyes, give tips and are happy to answer questions from the audience after the film. Due to the high audience interest in the live film event, it is recommended to use the advance ticket sales. Film website: www.comfilm.de
