Experience KETTCAR live at the Lüneburg Cultural Summer 2024! With “Munich”, the first single from their new album, KETTCAR provided the soundtrack to the nationwide demonstrations against right-wing extremism in January. The piece makes it painfully obvious how little has really happened in the fight against everyday racism and discrimination despite ongoing efforts. On February 16, “Doug & Florence”, the second single from the sixth studio album “Gute Laune ungerecht angebracht” will be released. More than six years have passed since the last album, but even today “Ich vs. Wir” still seems as relevant and current as it did when it was released in autumn 2017. The album was described by SPIEGEL.de as “one of the most powerful and important German albums of the year”, while Musikexpress praised it as “irreconcilable and with new urgency”. In August 2024, KETTCAR will come to the Cultural Summer and present their powerful and important songs live.
