Grobrock - Northern Style Hardrock

Back to the roots and make Hamburg what it was 60 years ago: the rock'n'roll epicenter.
The name says it all. Experience from numerous performances in various bands has shown that the simpler the music, the more fun it is, both for the audience and for the band on stage. GROBROCK has taken up the idea and indulges in this passion without restraint. After the band initially drew inspiration from their role models such as AC/DC or Motörhead, over time they developed their own, typical GROBROCK style: some old-school hard rock, a few metal echoes, a little rock'n'roll - independent and with German lyrics, both humorous and occasionally thoughtful, but always with a northern German attitude. GROBROCK was founded in early 2011. Big "Slim" Neisi had long had the idea of a German-language rock band in the AC/DC style and was looking for collaborators, which he found in Tiny Tim and Little "Fat" Joe.

From the beginning, GROBROCK was supposed to be a classic power trio. As such, they began songwriting, because they agreed that they would not do covers. After just three rehearsals, they played their first (short) gig in the Bunker in Lübeck. In 2012, GROBROCK played seven gigs and wrote almost 50 songs in the same time. The first CD "Heiß wie die Hölle" has been available in stores since November 17, 2017.
The second CD was originally planned for 2020, but had to be postponed due to Corona. The new album was released in October 2022. This CD clearly shows the band's development towards a rockier, faster hard rock, but GROBROCK still remains true to its style.

FilterFrei, consisting of Eike Rustikal (vocals), Tosh (guitar), Gaadt (bass) and Joe (drums), has established a firm place in the Lübeck music scene since its founding in 2022. Their music combines the raw energy of punk with catchy pop melodies and anthemic choruses that invite you to sing along.

After the release of their first single "Treibsand" in 2022, which quickly found favor with punk rock fans, the band released three more singles in 2023. Their debut album "Wir haben nur das Hier und Jetzt", which is expected to be released in August 2024, was produced by the band in their own home studio.

FilterFrei is known for their dynamic live shows that enthrall audiences. With their honest lyrics, which often address personal and social issues, and their powerful sound, they create a special connection with their listeners.
