Grandma Breemeier is turning 75. A big day for the birthday girl, which is to be celebrated with the family. The mayor and the pastor have also announced that they will be there to officially congratulate her. Daughter-in-law Luise has her hands full. But nothing works out as she imagines. Daughter Birgit flirts with the pastor, father Jochen raids the wine cellar and makes advances to neighbor Rosa. Grandpa is annoyed because he is not the main character and refuses to speak to his wife... Luise tries to keep her composure - after all, she has her own goals at the party. Therefore, everything has to go as planned. But how is that ever going to work with this family?! It gets more turbulent by the hour, and Luise has to work really hard if the party is to go according to her plans. - But in the end, it is Grandma who holds the reins and, together with Grandpa, ensures a completely unexpected turn of events... This birthday party is a test of nerves in the family - and a great delight for the audience. A real theatrical treat full of quick-witted dialogue and situational comedy. We are starting the 2024 season with this in-house production - and we would like to celebrate this with you, with a small champagne reception!
