Christoph Maria Herbst & Moritz Netenjakob
The serious effort at silliness
Two humor workers read their favorite satires and chat
One is one of the most popular TV and cinema actors in Germany. The other is a best-selling author and cabaret artist. And they both have a lot in common: they love fine satire, quick role changes and Loriot.
On this exclusive evening, they don't just chat about their passion for intelligent humor - they also give the audience lots of samples of satirical writing culture: be it sketches by a certain Vicco von Bülow or an apology letter that Herbst wrote to his religion teacher as a student; be it sarcastic texts from Netenjakob's pen or live excerpts from Herbst's favorite audio books; be it scenes from Netenjakob's successful novel “Macho Man” or from the cult series “Stromberg”.
When the most successful audio book reader in Germany (Herbst) takes to the microphones with a “gifted parodist” (Kölner Rundschau about Netenjakob), then a variety of voices and colors of humor can be expected, which is certainly unique in this combination.
