Ausstellung der Elsdorfer Mal- und Werkkurse

Until October 7, 2024, works by children, young people and adults aged 7 to 67 can be seen in the exhibition room of the Volksbank branch on Vitus-Platz. The creative courses are led by the artist Birgit Dodenhoff. They have been taking place regularly for 14 years and offer space for artistic education and challenge.

Drawings and paintings as well as clay ceramics are on display. "Learning the necessary artistic craft in a relaxed atmosphere in order to be able to express yourself individually using artistic means, daring to enter new territory, surprising yourself with yourself, accepting yourself, experiencing joy and flow and, at the end, holding a work of art, a homage to yourself, in your hands are the core elements of the courses," explains Birgit Dodenhoff. This is the third time that the Elsdorf art courses have shown an excerpt of their works.

The course participants meet every two weeks or, flexibly, every month for two hours each in small groups of up to five participants for creative collaboration. Contact: birgit.dodenhoff@ewetel.net
