The 5th KUNST-stückchen transforms the area near the old forest pool in Garlstorf into an inspiring art space for two days. Under the motto 'Visions of the Future' of the #KultursommerHarburg, over 20 artists present their works and actions on the meadow, in the forest and in the club rooms of the SG SaGa. The event, which was awarded the 2024 Cultural Summer Prize of the Harburg district, invites visitors to a unique experience. Admission is free.

Saturday, 07.09.2024, 6–10 p.m.

Opening night: The event begins with a breathtaking performance by two light giants, accompanied by the sounds of a saxophone. The forest lights up through the projects "STRAHLZEIT: Warm-Up" and "Lost Worlds: The Disappearance of Species in Art and Artificiality", among others. The works "The City of Unloved Feelings" and "Berlin Blue" cyanotype on fabric are also shown in the forest. Sound station: Enjoy futureSounds, futureChillin and futureAcapella via wireless headphones.

Sunday, 08.09.2024, 11am–5pm

Mobile planetarium: Experience fascinating film shows in a 6-meter-wide and 3-meter-high planetarium from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Interactive art: Create unique images with the "text-to-image machine" or take part in the "futureSTITCH" community embroidery project. Participation activities: Bring your favorite item of clothing to the "FuturSchneiderei" and have it designed for the future. Become part of the art installation "KINST - with or without you?". Vernissage of the resulting work at 2:30 p.m. Other highlights: Create colors in the color laboratory, relax with "futureNATUREwellness" and take part in guided art tours (Saturday at 7:00 p.m., Sunday at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.).

The “Café & Köstlich” from Salzhausen and a drinks stand with a selection of refreshments will take care of your physical well-being.

Since 2015, KUNST-stückchen has provided a platform for regional creatives, artists and artisans. The event, which takes place every two years, allows artists to freely explore a given theme.
