Die 2te Heimat

Hamburg's Theatre Salon 2te Heimat - everything else is everyday life!

TheTheatre 2te Heimat is now regarded by many Hamburgers as an insider tip, because here you can experience theatre in a completely different way.

Welcome to the Phoenixhof quarter! The Theatre Salon 2te Heimat combines theatre and culinary delights - personal, surprising and enjoyable. Based on the cultural salons of the past century, culture, culinary delights and communication meet here. After a personal greeting, the evening begins with champagne and finger food, the delicious three-course menu must still wait, because: Before the meal there is a big theatre! Curtain up for the tragicomedies of life - the actors take the audience to a Swiss mountain pasture, to a hairdressing salon or to a cruise ship. Everyday stories - and yet no everyday life! The plays deal in an entertaining way with the everyday problems of interpersonal interaction.

After the theatre we eat: Every month there is a different, newly created three-course home menu, vegetarian if desired.

The guests take a seat at Hamburg's longest table and the food is served personally by the actors. If you want, you can quickly get into conversation with your table mates.

Finally, the artists invite you to an espresso or a nightcap, which you can also enjoy in the cosy salon atmosphere in the foyer. If you feel like it, you can treat yourself to a piece of the extraordinary assortment of the Emotional Shop's 2te Heimat theatre for at home.

In Bergedorf a police station was moved in 1992. What remained was an old building, whose further use was up for discussion. Dedicated people with a healthy sense of community turned it into a cultural centre that has enriched the life of the district to this day.
