At ‘The Rabbithole’, extraordinary cocktails are prepared with home-made ingredients that make the bar unique. The bar uses freshly squeezed juices, its own syrups and liqueurs as well as infused spirits.
American Bar - With a Twist
The Rabbithole has one goal in mind: to serve the best cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere. This is also noticeable in the clientele, which is a colourful mix of all age groups, neighbours, cocktail lovers and international guests. The large back bar is stocked exclusively with spirits that the owners and their team really stand behind and believe in. Excellent quality is more important to them than a high margin. That's why they can tell you something about every single spirit and provide detailed advice.
Homemade ingredients take centre stage
All syrups are homemade, infused and macerated, and spirits are infused with exciting flavours using cold drip and sous-vide. The cocktails and drinks contain only fresh juices and liqueurs are produced in-house. Anything that is not available on the market or is not of sufficient quality is produced in-house. The Rabbithole also offers separate categories for alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails to ensure that every guest can find the perfect drink.
Exclusivity due to limited number of guests
As The Rabbithole only offers seating, the number of guests is limited, there is no standing room even in exceptional cases and groups are only admitted with a maximum of eight people. At The Rabbithole, they are convinced that this is the only way to maintain a very good service throughout the evening.

The focus is on classic drinks and own creations, which make up around 95% of the menu. In addition, the whole team works on four specials every month, each of which is only on the menu for one month and for which a lot of time is spent together in the production kitchen.
The only bar with cigar lounges in Hamburg
Apart from a few hotel bars, The Rabbithole is the only bar in Hamburg where cigars are still allowed to be smoked. Not in the entire dining room, but in two separate lounges.
And thanks to the efficient ventilation system, non-smokers also feel comfortable, so that nothing should stand in the way of an evening at the bar.
