Its name reveals its exclusive location on the 20th floor of the building. From here, you can look over the Elbe and the port of Hamburg at a height of 90 metres – while the seven-metre-tall panorama windows ensure that guests really don't miss a thing and that the hassle of everyday life loses all importance for a while. The Skyline Bar 20up is part of the Empire Riverside Hotel but is also open to external guests. The atmosphere is always relaxed and stylish, and a doorman checks whether the smart-casual dress code is being adhered to. Upon entering the bar, you can choose between seats at the 20-metre-long counter and seats at the window front. The best time to come here is shortly before sunset, and it is recommended that you stay on for a second or a third drink – until all the lights in the port have been switched on and the small illuminated party boats make their way down the Elbe.
