In the late 1990s, a dance and live club with the same name but French spelling opened in a former lost-and-found office under the Sternbrücke bridge - and played a major role in turning this intersection into a hub of Hamburg's nightlife.

In 2024, the Fundbureau had to leave its legendary home under the Sternbrücke and move to the Deichtorkasematten near the Deichtorhallen. The move was unavoidable due to the planned demolition of the old Sternbrücke.
