Quarree Wandsbek is one of the largest shopping centres in Hamburg. The shopping centre was opened in 1988 and extended by a multiplex cinema on the roof in 2000. In 2010 the Wandsbek Quarree was renovated and extended by 7500 sqm. Since then there are about 90 shops, cafés and restaurants as well as a daily weekly market in the Quarree. Quaree Wandsbek regularly invites visitors to events and special offers, such as fashion shows or the Oktoberfest. The shopping centre can be reached by underground U1 or Schnellbus 39. Those who prefer to come by car will find two car parks on site.
