The fact that beer can also be different is no longer a secret. Beer polarises. And that's a good thing. In the centre of Hamburg we have created a small paradise of beer culture. Beyond mainstream and uniform mush, we focus on beers that surprise and inspire. We are fascinated not only by the beers themselves, but also by the people and stories behind the handmade beer jewels. And last but not least, Beyond Beer is simply the fulfilment of our dream.

Everyone is guaranteed to find their favourite beer among our selection. And since we offer constantly changing and partly exclusive highlights, it certainly doesn't stop with one. Here you will find world-famous beers, but also undiscovered pearls - selected personally and with a lot of passion. Of course, even the hop bombs remain fresh in our refrigerators - whether from out of the bottle or from the can.

In our cosy bar area you can enjoy our beers immediately.
In addition to our bottled beers there are always 3 regularly changing draught beers to choose from. If there is no time to drink on site or if friends and family should be surprised with fresh beer, our 2-litre growlers are the perfect choice. With this you can take the freshly tapped beer home, to the park or to a dinner party.

Unexpectedly, there's a lot to discover in the world of beer. Together these discoveries are more fun. That's why we regularly offer beer tastings on a wide variety of topics. And for those who have always wanted to brew their own beer, we offer brewing courses at the highest level. No bells and whistles, but real craftsmanship.

We are Florentine, Klaas, Max and Ronald - A team that connects over our common love and passion for beer.
Ronald and Max have been running a successful wholesale business for Craft Beer in Northern Germany for over a year now (brausturm.de). Klaas has been working on his blog "hopshysteria.de" since 2012 and Florentine proves as a trained beer sommelier that the subject is no longer only men's business.
