Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier, the new, vibrant centre of the HafenCity, will open on the 8th of April 2025 in the middle of the Port of Hamburg, combining unique flair and urban diversity. Directly on the waterfront, with spectacular architecture and a unique view of the harbour, it combines shopping, enjoyment and experience under one roof. Discover over 170 shops in 13 buildings on an area the size of ten football pitches, enjoy international culinary concepts in around 40 restaurants and cafés or experience art and culture in a new way in the immersive art centre Port des Lumières or in the family-friendly LEGO Discovery Centre.

Three comfortable hotels from the Accor Group are being built for overnight guests. With 579 flats and offices for around 4,000 people, the neighbourhood also offers space for modern living and working. Another highlight is the new Cruise Centre HafenCity, which will further strengthen Hamburg as a top destination for cruises.

The Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier will give the Hanseatic city a new vibrant landmark on the city's coast and at the same time provide an important boost for tourism and the metropolitan region's economy.

The new Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier expands Hamburg's city centre and makes it even more exciting for visitors. Two striking solitary buildings directly on the Elbe with an exclusive air bar on the 13th floor offer a breathtaking view over the HafenCity to the planned new Hamburg Opera House and beyond to the Elbe bridges.

The picturesque promenade leads to San-Francisco-Street, where three modern hotels from the Accor Group are gradually opening. This closes a final gap along the popular city coast along the harbour - ideal for exploring Hamburg's unique waterfront location between Blankenese and the Elbe bridges on foot or by bike.

HafenCity is considered the largest inner-city urban development concept in Europe. As an integral part of the HafenCity, the Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier combines living and working with attractive cultural and leisure facilities and innovative shopping concepts. As the second centre of the city, Hamburg is opening up even further to the Elbe and creating a space that can be experienced directly on the Elbe with unique offerings. Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier is waiting to be discovered - guaranteed to be an experience for the whole family.
