The Hamburg Bahrenfeld trotting track can be reached from the 28/A7 motorway exit in just 5 minutes. For guests arriving by car there are 600 free parking spaces available. The taxi ride from the airport takes about 25 minutes. From the main station the journey with the S11 or S31 to Holstenstraße and from there with the bus line 3 is approx. 24 minutes. Lines 1,2,3 and 286 stop at the bus stop Bahrenfeld, Trabrennbahn.
The Hamburg Bahrenfeld trotting track has been one of the most modern tracks in Europe since the renovation of the visitors' area and the track, making it an excellent venue for international championships. In short, you can see Europe's most important drivers and their horses here. The race takes place almost every week at the Trabrennbahn Hamburg (Thursday evening race days from 6.30 p.m. / Sunday and holiday race days from 1.30 p.m. with family programme). If you take children with you to the racecourse, you can enjoy professional childcare at the Flitzi-Club on Sundays and public holidays. Also the gastronomic service is not to be despised.
