If you need a relaxing break between all the sightseeing and shopping in Hamburg, the outdoor pool at the City Park is just the place.
The outdoor pool is the largest outdoor swimming pool in Hamburg, at 107x138 metres, and is separated from the lake only by a wall. The water quality is very good, because the water comes from the Alster and is filtered. The Naturbad Stadtparksee is a special favourite with kids because there is a beach where they can build sandcastles, and since this season, there is a special highlight: a pontoon with a water slide in the middle of the water. Parents need not worry; lifeguards are on duty. Culinary well-being has also been thought about - Schuhmacher’s Biergarten is directly adjacent to the pool.
