Golfpark and Hotel Gut Deinster Mühle
Golfpark and Hotel Gut Deinster Mühle gets its name from an 800 year old mill, that stands to this day in the park and adds to its charm.
The golf club, which is named after an 800 year old mill, is an inviting excursion destination in the hedgerow landscape of Stade.
Gut Deinster Mühle Golfpark lies amongst the hedgerow landscape of Stade, approximately 40 kilometres to the west of Hamburg and surrounded by untouched fallow land, watercourses, ponds and trees.
As well as an 18-hole course, which all guests with a permit are welcome to use, there is also a 4-hole short course. The driving range, which can be played from three sides, there are 50 tee boxes, 10 of which are covered. There are further tee boxes on the second driving range directly next to the 18-hole course. The training module includes a large putting and two pitching and chipping greens as well as four bunkers. Clubs, carts and trolleys for hire.
The course is open throughout the year and offers courses for all abilities, as well as packages with the 3-star Hotel Gut Deinster Mühle. The Hotel offers 17 single and double bedrooms as well as two cosy gallery rooms suitable for groups of up to five persons. Dogs and other pets are allowed, too. In addition, members of various golf clubs enjoy a discount.
The 800-year-old estate is perfect for relaxed outings, small-scale meetings and ambitious golf holidays.
The 800-year-old Gut Deinster Mühle is located just a few kilometres to the south of the city, barely an hour's drive from the centre of Hamburg. The facility's hotel has more than 17 single and double rooms and two spacious gallery rooms for families with up to 5 people. The accommodation is furnished in a modern country house style. All ground floor rooms have access to a small terrace. Dogs and other pets welcome.
The Alte Lohmühle restaurant menu includes traditional trout and other fish dishes. Guests can even catch their own fish for lunch or dinner in the nearby ponds.
There is also the neighbouring Gut Deinster Mühle golf park, which has arrangements in place with the hotel. The 3-star hotel is therefore a popular location with golf tourists looking to improve their handicap in a relaxed atmosphere, but also for company events on a manageable scale, or outings with friends and family.
