Eimsbütteler Park "Am Weiher"

Green heart in the middle of Eimsbüttel

Everybody in Eimsbüttel knows where to go if they are told "See you am Weiher".

Am Weiher, a popular park among the locals, is a tiny, green oasis in the middle of Eimsbüttel. Not even two hectares large in area, visitors of all ages to this lovely space will enjoy the duck pond, old pastures and the beautiful hiking trail. There are numerous benches with views of the water for when you want to let life slip by for a while. If you’re lucky enough, you might also spot the heron that has claimed the park as its own hunting ground.

CITY AREA PORTRAIT Eimsbüttel & Eppendorf

Here, one can find magnificent old building façades, local and exquisite restaurants as well as fancy boutiques and owner-operated shops. While Eppendorf is rather fancy, one can feel the hanseatic serenity in Eimsbüttel. Both districts offer much green and water and are hence with good reason very popular neighbourhoods in Hamburg.
