ElbeCamp

Nature campsite directly on the Elbe beach

Located directly on the Elbe beach in Falkenstein Forest Park, you can spend your camping holiday right by the water at ElbeCamp. The camping pitches are right on the beach, in the sand between the bushes and dunes - perfect for families, adventure fans and nature lovers.

This special retreat on Hamburg's last natural beach in the countryside offers relaxation and recreation. All camping pitches are unspoilt and without parcels, so you can enjoy nature to the full, even though it's only 30 minutes to the city centre.

The ElbeCamp is a project of Kinderschutz & Jugendwohlfahrt e.V. and is therefore directly committed to children and young people. Many of the organisation's projects are supported, with all surplus income from ongoing operations going directly to these projects.

CITY AREA PORTRAIT Blankenese & Elbe outskirts

The former fishing and seamen's village of Blankenese is situated directly on the Elbe. It is the perfect starting point for hopping on a sailing boat or on the Elbe ferry, or for taking long walks along the shore. Another highlight is a visit to the Treppenviertel (German for staircase quartier) with a spectacular view of the lighthouse and the Falkenstein shore.

Stroll, relax and watch the ships on the Elbe beach Elbe beach

The Elbe beach near Övelgönne is a pretty hot tip in summer. When the temperatures rise and the sun burns, nothing is more refreshing than a jump into the cool water.
