ÜBERJAZZ

Jazzfestival at Kampnagel

After many years of Überjazz, the media are confident: the evenings in November in the former Maschinenfabrik on Hamburg Kampnagel regularly shift the stylistic boundaries of the term jazz.

ÜBERJAZZ is a post-genre-festival, made to fit all Jazz- and Music connoisseurs, as well as being a place to encounter. Since 2010 the ÜBER in the name refers to transcending genre borders. You may find the elite of contemporary Jazz, but also experimental electronica, alternative Hip-Hop, Neo Classic, Tropicália, plenty of which does not fit any genre description. Live out your exploration-gene, even if names in the line-up do not ring a bell, trust the tasteful curation and experience continuous awakening moments.

This year the Überjazz Festival celebrates its eleventh anniversary. Musical highlights off the classical mainstream will be celebrated this year as well. Also this year the party starts on Thursday evening. The Pre-Opening Night shortens the waiting time for the unique musical experience.

Predicate: Going!

Information on the 2024 programme will be available here shortly (in german).
