Seminar "Käse und Wein - Frankreich"

The "Grande Nation" offers cheese and wine in an endless variety. Let yourself be carried away and try eight different cheeses made from cow's, sheep's and goat's milk at this seminar, exclusively French and mostly raw milk cheeses.

Experience classic and surprising combinations. Discover new cheeses and wines and experience how enjoyable the right combination can be.

For each cheese we taste two wines together and describe and evaluate the combination and the taste effect of the cheese and wine on each other.

The wines (white and red) come from France. We also compare cheese made from pasteurized and raw milk and enjoy working out the rules for combining cheese and wine. The extensive and exciting tasting is complemented by interesting facts about cheese and wine.

Seminar goal: Getting to know the rules for combining cheese and wine, discovering your own preferences and perception, and an enjoyable evening.

Target group: Lovers and those interested in cheese and wine with or without previous knowledge. Maximum 15 people

Services: Seminar with tasting of eight types of cheese in combination with two wines each (7-10 different wines), 0.75l mineral water per person, bread, seminar documents.

SlideProjection steht für einen gleichzeitig experimentellen und zugänglichen Jazz mit hohem Anspruch an eine thematisch-konzeptionelle Programmatik der Musik. Die Band um Posaunist und Komponist Ken Dombrowski verarbeitet im Debüt-Album »chronicles of dehumanization« musikalisch den wachsenden Einfluss von digitalen Medien auf unser Leben und das darin verborgene Manipulationspotential. Eingebettet in einen elektroakustischen Sound nutzt SlideProjection stilistische Kontraste, um diese Themen erzählerisch, provokativ und humorvoll zu reflektieren. Die Band hält dabei den Zuhörenden auf wohlwollende Art den Spiegel vor; erkennt, benennt und projiziert Alltagsmomente und Zukunftshoffnungen einer gesamten Generation.

Spangenberg plays Nirvana

The idea of performing the songs of the legendary grunge band Nirvana on just the piano is obvious and unimaginable in equal measure. Two worlds that couldn’t be more different collide, yet they are emotionally far more similar than they may seem. Unlike Nirvana, Christoph Spangenberg will hopefully not be destroying any pianos, but he will be using all means at his disposal to bring classics such as »About a Girl«, »Come as You Are« and »Smells Like Teen Spirit« to the piano in his unique style. Without drums, bass or singing – but with years of experience in various musical fields, from jazz to hip-hop and techno.
The music of the globally celebrated early-90s band with distorted guitar and screaming vocals is brimming with punk – and has a very different feel to the grand piano with its classical elegance. Imagine what would have happened had Kurt Cobain not only spat on Elton John’s piano at the 1992 MTV Video Music Awards, but sat down to play it. Presumably it would have fallen victim, just like all the band’s other instruments, to the musicians’ destructive nature.
