An investigation into what contemporary beat music is all about: the SPEKTRUM gathers, examines and celebrates hip hop and its development.
Since 2012, the booking has proved an unerring and broad feeling for the scene and its directions. This presents the Snapshot Beat Culture in a one-day festival at the Reiherstieg in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg. The SPEKTRUM locates itself "in the field of tension between tradition and crossing borders" and thus presents every year the diversity of the current hiphop scene without losing sight of the quality.
THE SPECTRUM 2024
Last year's line-up impressed with a mixture of established headliners, scene greats and promising newcomers. Although rap is the focus of the festival, visitors could look forward to a varied programme with different genres, (electronic) DJ sets and takeovers on the three stages. The artists Juju, Haftbefehl and Souly were among those taking part.
