Workshop: Klassiko Percussion Instruments

The world of percussion instruments is huge: the collection at the Elbphilharmonie has classical percussion instruments from the symphony orchestra (such as timpani, drums and cymbals), so-called mallet instruments (for instance, the xylophone and vibraphone) and countless other rhythm instruments, even from other parts of the world. You can try them all out in this workshop. Participants can find their rhythm with guidance – and make music together with everyone at the end.

Please note: This workshop is aimed at families with children aged 6+.

Children younger than six years may not participate in this workshop.
