Come and enjoy the harbor festival in the World Heritage City of Wismar at the Old Harbor

First mentioned in a document in 1211, the harbor began with two berths for cogs. Today, the harbor is not only of great economic importance for the city, but also a popular attraction for locals and visitors alike.

Enjoy four days of folk festival atmosphere in Wismar's parlor, the Old Port! Admire the hustle and bustle of the traditional ships on board or from the quayside. Cheer on the participants in the dragon boat race, experience the traditional barrel regatta and marvel at the many sailors. There's a lot going on on the water!
