Vollmondwanderung auf dem Heidschnuckenweg in der Misselhorner Heide
- Excursions & Hikes
Let yourself be enchanted by the nighttime charm of the Tiefental
We invite you to a very special nature experience on the Heidschnuckenweg: Come with us under the full moon to explore one of the most beautiful sections of the Heidschnuckenweg, through the Misselhorner Heath. When light becomes scarce and seeing becomes difficult, we must rely on our other senses. This is unusual and very exciting. The certified forest educator Katrin Blumenbach takes you on a short journey through the darkness and wants to sharpen your senses. Let yourself be surprised.
The Misselhorner Heide is one of the outstanding destinations in the Südheide. Thanks to its horseshoe shape and gentle hills, it offers interested nature lovers a particularly beautiful landscape experience. When the bright moon disk appears on the horizon, the mood is perfect. But special sensory experiences can also be had in the neighboring forests in the twilight.
Katrin Blumenbach will show you how the heath landscape came into being, which you can wonderfully understand in this area. The use of the heathland by our ancestors is just as important as natural phenomena along the way. Boulders, juniper bushes and animal tracks are not ignored.
Together we let our gaze wander into the far distances: the Milky Way and countless stars continue to enchant people here and elsewhere in the world. Some city dwellers have never noticed them before. Even when the sky is overcast, many things in nature can be discovered. An unforgettable experience awaits you!
