Vernissage Alex Bernstein - Landscapes of Fire and Light

The opening of our new special exhibition Alex Bernstein - Landscapes of Fire and Light will take place on Sunday, March 2nd, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The shapes of the works and the techniques the American artist uses to process the glass reflect processes in nature such as oxidation, erosion, growth and decay. As a result, many of his works evoke images of flowing water, ice crystals, mountain peaks and jagged ravines - all structures that appear solid and unyielding but are actually in a constant state of flux.
Alex Bernstein will be present at the opening and will be happy to answer your questions.
As a special highlight on the day of the general election in Hamburg, the exhibition can be visited for a special admission price of €1.
His sculptures can be admired from March 2nd to May 10th, 2025 in the Achilles Foundation Glass Museum at Fuhlsbüttler Straße 415a.
