The Hamburg Fleet has been pooling the city's watercraft since 2017 and focuses on efficient, sustainable vessel operations. It sees itself as a driver and pioneer in the areas of environmental protection, technology, and modern port management. Its zero-emission strategy pursues the goal of a climate-neutral fleet by 2040. With the "Bürgermeister Brauer" and "Bürgermeister Weichmann," the Hamburg Water Police has been operating its first hybrid patrol vessels since this year. In addition, the Hamburg Fleet already operates three other plug-in hybrid vessels. Both vessels will be christened at the St. Pauli Landungsbrücken as part of the port's anniversary celebrations.
