Synths & Stories: Crafting Narratives in Electronic Music
- Electronic
Electro and techno artist Nadia Struiwigh delves into musical storytelling on the evening before her Elbphilharmonie concert. Her workshop is about song structures and sound design: how do you arrange a story and atmospheric soundscapes using musical equipment? And how do you devise thrilling arcs of suspense with synthesisers?
Anyone curious about producing electronic music is welcome in this workshop. Previous experience and your own equipment are not necessary, but you may bring along self-produced tracks. Anyone wishing to try out ideas on the spot can also bring along their own laptop. Following the workshop, Nadia Struiwigh invites you to take part in a discussion session.
