Spectacular opening ceremony at Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier on April 8th

Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier is celebrating the grand opening of the retail, gastronomy and leisure space with a large-scale housewarming party with a maritime flair. The event will start in the early afternoon with an exclusive ceremony for tenants and project participants, with Hamburg's First Mayor Dr. Peter Tschentscher as guest of honor.

From the afternoon until late in the evening (16:00-22:00), visitors can look forward to a comprehensive program: music acts and surprising artist performances throughout the quarter, omnichannel and social media activations as well as a finale in the evening with a DJ set and dance beats. The program will be flanked by numerous individual activities and event formats by the brands and rental partners.

The grand opening day will be followed by a varied opening week that invites all visitors to get to know the stores, restaurants, entertainment and cultural offerings in the district. From 9 to 12 April, the focus will be on a different area of the quarter every day: starting with the Innovation & Future area, followed by Culture, Gastronomy and Leisure & Lifestyle.
