SIGN X

SIGN X are back! After their first album "Like A Fire" and their current output "Back To Eden", both of which received excellent reviews worldwide and thus built up a large fan base, the signs for 2024 are pointing to a storm. SIGN X emerged from the Hamburg cult band Châlice, who have released 7 CDs since the early 90s and successfully completed various shows & tours with rock greats Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Uriah Heep, Saga, Doro and many more. With the arrival of singer Sebastian Zierof (known as Udo from the successful musical "Hinterm Horizont"), the band began to work on their own sound, which was supported by Michel Jotzer on keyboards on the first album and on parts of the new album "Back To Eden".

After causing quite a stir with their first EP at the beginning of 2018 (number 1 in the Classic Rock Charts on Amazon), their first two albums were able to increase their popularity even further through their collaboration with the label "Pride & Joy Music". With the help of mix & master luminary Andy Horn (The Red Room Studios), the SIGN X songs have been given their own unique stamp that is difficult to compare with established bands. With Sebastian's participation in "The Voice Of Germany 2023" and the addition of Axel Mackenrott from Masterplan on keyboards and Michael Wolpers from Running Wild on drums (original drummer Michael Mehl has since emigrated to Spain), the SIGN X mother ship can now be steered into completely new international waters.

SEBASTIAN ZIEROF (Leadvox, A-Guitar)
OLIVER SCHEER (Guitar)
STEVE LAGLEDER (bass, backvox)
AXEL MACKENROTT (Keys)
MICHAEL WOLPERS (drums)

We are the band Blacktane and we come from Germany. We "officially" formed in 2019, but we've been making music together before that. We hope you like what we do and if so, let us know!
