Guest performance for the whole family
What if this whole mess we're currently in wasn't a mountain of stupid circumstances, but a knotted knot of the present? And the answer to all these crises, conflicts, and climate change wasn't to bury our heads in the sand and exclaim, "Yeah, that's a bummer, there's nothing we can do about it," but to untie the knots?
In their new performance "Loops, Knots, Braids," the Berlin performance group SLIDERS leads its audience to Ariadne's thread leading out of the cave. They are joined by the theater group Romplay, a gang of young Roma women from St. Pauli. The two groups connect with the audience in a joyful way. They weave their desires and ideas into a web of vibrant presence, in which stories and fates become visible and productive, because living together means a joyful entanglement.
The performance takes place outside on the Children’s Rights Square in front of the theater.
