Randale Zentrale: Diskriminierungskritisches Verkleiden
- Workshops
With: Aster Oberreit and Linda Schulz from We ARE – Antiracism Education eV
Whether it's a magical sorceress, a heroic knight, a dangerous tiger or a cool vampire - dressing up is simply fun. Whether it's for Halloween, a child's birthday party, carnival or just like that: who doesn't like to slip into a costume, into a different role? Not only is it fun, it can also help us to take on different perspectives and get to know ourselves better. But to ensure that everyone enjoys dressing up, putting on make-up and playing, it's important to treat each other with respect. Why can some costumes be hurtful for some people? And why do the same children always dress up as princesses and superheroes?
We want to be creative together, question what we know and come up with completely new ideas! In addition to all your questions, please bring old clothes, your favorite costumes, sewing patterns or scraps of fabric. We will provide children's make-up, textile paints and a small selection of craft supplies free of charge in the workshop.
Let’s prepare for the next costume party together and with a critical attitude towards discrimination!
