"New Horizons"
- Exhibition
Saturday - 4:00 pm - Village Community Center Bomlitz (August-Wolff-Straße 3)
"New Horizons" is the name of the joint exhibition by the painter Soraya Heuer and the sculptor Samiye Sepehrikia at the FORUM. The two artists will present impressive paintings and fascinating sculptures that together create an inspiring connection between nature and art.
Soraya Heuer is an international artist and has her studio in Soltau. Her paintings are based on the theme of water, which appears in a variety of shapes and colors. From gentle waves to powerful currents and calm lakes, each of her works captures the essence of water and tells its own story. The watercolors, with their transparent lightness, convey the delicate grace of water, while the acrylic paintings, with strong colors and dynamic brushstrokes, reflect the energy and power of the element. In large and small formats, Heuer wants to encourage guests to think about the meaning of water and appreciate its beauty.
Art teacher Samiye Sepehrikia loves nature and draws inspiration from it for her works of art. She finds dead wood, broken branches, tree bark and similar materials in nature as her materials. In a piece of wood in a corner of the forest that is covered in moss, she sees the head and body of a bird. She adds the tail feather from a root, a leg from a broken branch and its eyes from tree seeds. Guests will be able to discover surprising and beautiful things at the exhibition.
The sculptures will only be on display at the vernissage, to which everyone is welcome. The paintings can be viewed until November 15, 2024 after a short registration at 0163-1650184. Admission to the vernissage is free, and the two artists are looking forward to talking to guests and having a diverse exchange.
