Come with us on a trip from Hamburg - Sandtorhafen to Glückstadt on the FAIRPLAY VIII. The tug was built in 1962 at the Theodor Buschmann shipyard on Reiherstieg in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg. As one of a total of six sister ships, this single-screw Kortjet tug with 600 hp and 12 t bollard pull was one of the high-tech vehicles of its kind in the 1960s and 70s.
