The power of the water in the lake sets the large, heavy mill wheel in motion and this power is transferred to the grinding stones. Here, rye and spelled are ground into flour, which can later be used to bake bread. The volunteer millers will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
In the special atmosphere of the cozy fireplace room you can then enjoy a hearty miller's breakfast (lard or herb with coffee or tea). Of course you can also buy bread and freshly ground flour.
