LIOBA
- Pop
LIOBAS's soundscape is a mixture of tender ballads, danceable, light pop and groovy numbers. The spectrum of her warm voice ranges from tender vulnerability to graceful and powerful energy. Her self-written songs are captivating; they tell of stumbling and growing, of trust and hope - authentic and full of emotion.
Lioba's debut album Magnolia, released in early 2024, was a powerful testimony to her personal and musical growth and invited us to share in her emotions and reflections on the world. The personal and profound lyrics reminded us that even if you have made mistakes, you can find acceptance and free yourself.
Even before the release of Magnolia, Lioba began working on her second album with her duo partner and producer Mona Reichling. She will present songs from it to us on January 27, 2025. Her new single "Paperthin", for example, takes us back to the early days of falling in love, characterized by the pulsating euphoria and the deep insecurities that come with it. In it, Lioba describes the balancing act between the desire for closeness and the fear of being hurt. Even if we may feel fragile and sometimes as thin as paper, behind this supposed weakness there is often an unexpected strength that can lead us back to life and to ourselves.
For the entire concert evening, LIOBA will take us on an honest, touching and extremely melodious journey through her inner self. We are already looking forward to it.
