The Lars Pagelsen Trio plays understandable, danceable jazz with influences from pop, rock and hip-hop. The Hamburg pianist composes catchy melodies, surprising arcs of tension and gives all instruments an equal say. Together with Niclas Rotermund and Eleni Granitza, he forms the Lars Pagelsen Trio, which will present its debut EP »Inner Peace« at the concert. The interplay between the three young musicians is as fresh and playful as it is intimate and familiar. You will look in vain for a musical showdown, as the focus is instead on collective music-making and an intensive connection with the audience.
