Elisa-Bib is a hedgehog that never grew spikes! That is not only unusual, but also life-threatening. Nevertheless, she set out on her journey, despite all the dangers. The fact that she made it past dogs and cars and into the suitcase of puppeteer Christoph Buchfink is actually a miracle...

We learn how hedgehogs speak and why spikes don't always help. There is also a cellar that seems to lead to a bottomless pit and a real happy ending. But up until then there are plenty of beautiful, funny and sad moments.
