John Cale / »POPtical Illusion Tour 2025«

John Cale has always been a musician of his time and paved the way for The Velvet Underground, which he co-founded, with his groundbreaking drones. Don’t be fooled by »POPtical Illusion«, the playful title of John Cale’s latest album: The British art rock musician is still angry and socially critical. The wild rock of Fear and Slow Dazzle, not to mention his productions with Patti Smith and the Stooges, characterised punk, post-punk and art rock for half a century. On »POPtical Illusion«, Cale once again shows himself to be a musician of this era.

Please note: This event replaces the cancelled concert from 16 March 2025. Tickets purchased for the postponed concert are valid for this event.
