Do you love political scandals, embarrassing everyday situations and satirical high blood pressure areas? Then you've come to the right place.
Jan-Peter Petersen (founder, author and actor of the Hamburg cabaret Alma Hoppe) presents his solo program: "Too late is never too early".
"I'll do it tomorrow" is something we all know. A long list of unpleasant omissions quickly accumulates: things left undone, things neglected, things repeatedly postponed, things that are absolutely absurd from the depths of personal and social everyday life. It's really annoying how often you have to postpone important tasks before you've completely forgotten about them.
There are some things that we shouldn't put off, both big and small: problems in relationships and jobs, measures against climate change, creating peace... and artificial intelligence as an expansion of consciousness for supposedly rational people? Why go to the trouble of cracking the big nut when you can keep yourself in a good mood with small chickpeas for everyone to see.
Procrastination has long been an established part of everyday life, even in private life. But Jan-Peter Petersen is not only targeting the usual suspects. Of course, the politicians in charge do not live for politics, but from politics. And since politicians do not receive any more money for solving a problem than for formulating it, they constantly make claims but run away from the solution.
You can expect a wild rollercoaster ride in this program. Jan-Peter Petersen combines cabaret-like, biting current texts with highly comical everyday episodes. His cabaret-like observations turn into a precise inventory of current sensibilities. And it's hilarious.
