At hidden shakespeare, every show is a premiere! The ensemble has created a completely unique art form out of the improvisation genre. Since 1993, the six artists in the troupe (five actors, one musician) have been flying the flag of this wild form of theatre with great success.
How does it work? The audience provides keywords that are implemented without a script, but with 1000 ideas: spontaneous, quick-witted, relentlessly live. This is how soap operas, crime stories, heart-rending dramas, short film scenes, songs, stories and poems, fairy tales and even performance art are created. After appearances for the Federal President at Bellevue Palace and guest performances all over Europe, Africa, America and the Caribbean, the heroes of the improvisational theater return time and again to the Schmidt Theater and show their ability, desire and a lot of humor as always.
