The Helga Cup is Europe’s largest women-only regatta and yet, or precisely because of this, a sailing event for "every woman". Whether young or old, whether a recreational or regatta sailor, whether an offsore or inshore experience - at the Helga Cup in Hamburg, you can find a variety of female sailors from all over Europe! The "Helga Cup" is not just about pure regatta sailing nor just about this one event. Under the slogan 'thinkHelga' we accompany the crews from the start of their preparation all the way up to the event.

On a specially marked lane, mixed teams of two (with and without disabilities) compete in the Helga Cup .Inclusion. Parallel to the water races, other inclusion and disabled sports competitions will take place on land.

Ecologically, the Helga Cup actively contributes to the topics of e-mobility on the water and water pollution control. For example, accompanying crew and jury drive in e-boats and a Seabin filter epitomizes containment of water pollution.
