Home and expert knowledge of the watt with the national park wading guide: Experiencing plants and animals in Salzwiese and Wadden, formation of the Wattenmeer from the ice age to the present. Also: dangers and safety in the watt.

Weather: The constant is with us the unstable. Imagine an intense sun exposure (protect face, head and shoulders), a cool wind and rain (jacket). Walks are well suited for children! Please think of changing clothes and provisions (drinks). Footwear: At appropriate temperatures (from about 13 degrees and little wind) you can walk barefoot. Otherwise in "beachies", fixed linen shoes or solid, high rubber boots, especially with health problems.
