HARPSICHORD, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER
  • Classical Music

© Foto: Andreas Weiss

In this concert, two differently tuned harpsichords take you into contrasting worlds of sound: One harpsichord is tuned to a »mean-tone« tuning with very pure sounds, while the second instrument is tuned to a »well-tempered« tuning, which allows for great tonal flexibility and modulation. The concert, which will be performed by the harpsichord and recorder classes of the HfMT, will open your ears to the many colours of early music, ranging from gentle to dramatic.
