Hamburgs einzige Störtebeker-Tour
- City Walks
Follow in the footsteps of the most famous pirate in the north: stories from 600 years of Hamburg history: from Störtebeker's birth to his execution; from the old town to HafenCity; from fires to flood protection measures; from barges to the Elbphilharmonie - the life of Klaus Störtebeker will be our central theme.
Our route takes us past some of the oldest buildings in the city and to a long-forgotten burial site. We report on what is probably the city's greatest publicly displayed proof of love, on piracy and betrayal - and we search for and find Störtebeker's treasure!
- Where do seven sisters stand in the mud twice a day?
- What does the Semperoper have in common with St. Nikolai?
- What did Störtebeker offer for his release?
- Where does an Everyman appear when no one can live?
You will find out. This and much more.
We walk through Hamburg's old town to the historic Speicherstadt - to the place of execution.
This public tour is not barrier-free, but can be organized and carried out barrier-free for closed groups! More tours in Hamburg, schedules, ship arrivals, and much more at www.hamburg-lotse.de
