JazzAmen presents: Gypsy Hearts
Martin Taylor & Giovanni Weiss

Two of Europe's most outstanding jazz guitarists are our guests in the Kulturkirche Altona: Martin Taylor , world-famous for his incomparable fingerstyle technique and his masterful, complex playing, and Giovanni Weiss , who has made a name for himself in the jazz world not only with his band Django Deluxe with their unmistakable Sinti swing and their two Echo Jazz awards, but also through his collaboration with international stars such as Till Brönner and the NDR Big Band.

On their tour of Germany, the two Gypsy Hearts present us with a unique mix of traditional jazz pieces inspired by Django Reinhardt and modern interpretations as well as their own compositions.

We can expect sounds that let us feel the depth of Taylor and Weiss' musical souls, from which the music flows directly into the hearts of the listeners.
