Gesetze schreddern. Eine klimagerechte Entsorgung des deutschen Grundgesetzes
- Theatre
by Kevin Rittberger
Director: Kevin Rittberger
In "Real Niche 0," Kevin Rittberger reforms the Basic Law of the Federal Republic of Germany. The right to life and physical integrity must be extended to ecological persons, and the rights of nature urgently require constitutional status; otherwise, climate collapse will be unavoidable. However, the development of the Federal Republic into a democratic, social, and ecological state raises questions: How can fundamental rights be introduced for ecological persons? Who speaks for rivers, forests, oceans, limestone, and chicks? What does it mean when ecological persons invoke their freedom of assembly? Are we ready for the Curazene, the age of care? And which parts of the current Basic Law can even be preserved? Is reform sufficient? Or must the entire Basic Law be shredded so that the new, ecological Basic Law can grow from its shreds?
Following the premiere on September 20th, there will be an audience discussion with Prof. Dr. Jens Kersten and a concert by Ditty in the MalerSaalFoyer.
